Williamson County Crisis Center Opening doors, renewing hope, and changing lives. Williamson County Crisis Center is dedicated to empowering victims of family violence and sexual assault through support and advocacy, while promoting community awareness, compassion, and responsibility for creating a safer community. Opportunities for involvement include:
- Volunteer positions and internships - As a victim advocate, answering the hot-line, assisting with the children's programs,
helping at the thrift store, working in the offices.
- Cash Contributions - To provide the required match for grants.
- Donations - Clothing, furniture, toiletries and household items to be used for families at the shelter or for the thrift store.

The Storehouse Sharing Christ through meeting physical needs. The Storehouse is located in Round Rock at 1601 S. IH 35, suite 305 (next to Half Price Books). They are open to serve the public Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Services include: a food pantry, free Bibles, financial classes, life skills and job training, a work program to earn needs at $10/hour (clothes, autos, furniture, appliances, etc.), Job help: (resume, work references, interview skills, and referrals), Christian counseling, community assistance referrals to area agencies where help can be found, and relief help to areas hit by devastating catastrophes. Volunteer opportunities include: Christian mentors, Spanish speakers, teen mentors, job trainers, Biblical counselors, food pantry and clothes sorting, pickup or delivery, inventory stocking, carpenters, etc. For more information or to volunteer, call 512-238-6737 or see their website at www.the-storehouse.org
Round Rock Serving Center The serving center carries out a community-wide mission of churches, organization, and individuals serving human needs in the City of Round Rock and surrounding areas. Services include a food pantry, clothing store, financial assistance for utilities, rent, prescriptions, transportation, temporary lodging, and gasoline. To serve or volunteer call 244-2431.
